Need Medication For Varicose & Numbness In Front Outer Calf Muscle

Hello, my friend, male, 71, slim, drinks wine, no longer smokes, low blood pressure, erysipelas +/- 20 years ago, varicose veins + phlebitis, now has regular numbness in front outer half of left foot! and increasingly frequent episodes of white, cold fingers. Any thoughts on this ? Thank you. Potential patient s email: YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Greetings Sir.
-First of all i appreciate you for Quitting the Smoking Habit.
- As per your details such as Varicose with numbness and frequent episodes on cold fingers, i suggest you to wear stockings which relieve some of your discomfort along with limb elevation to about 30 degree keeping a pillow to your leg with frequent change of leg posture if you experience tingling feel.
- I advise you to avoid any injury to your affected leg and apply some suitable Emollients and moisturizing creams after consulting your nearby General Physician.
