Need Medication For Itching & Red Rashes On Left Arm

Hi..I am 33 weeks pregnant and suddenly developed itching and red rashes on my left arm. Today it has spread to my left cheek a little bit and it is red. Can I take the drug avil? It is not Advil, but an anti allergy medicine that I would take before pregnancy if I had rashes. It makes one sleepy

There are relatively fewer data on the nonsedating second-generation antihistamines; however, published studies are reassuring.
