I am a 43 year old female and I have noticed the following over the last several months: Night sweats, flushing, sweating throughout the day (at times can be excessive through hands, feet and arm pits) regardless of body temperature or room temperature, I ve noticed a change in my temperament...in general more irritable. Recently I noticed a sensitivity to alcohol and caffeine and in the last 6 months I have an itching that is random but drives me absolutely insane. It is not concentrated in one area...it can be on arms, abdomen, legs etc. When I itch is leaves welts or hives. I also recently checked my blood pressure because in the last month I have had dizziness, light headedness and vertigo that seems to come and go...for the first time ever I was hypertensive (132)...I have never had irregular blood pressure before. I have two lumps on my rib cage that had remained the same size for several years (no one could ever figure out what they were I have had a gazillion x-rays and my former doctor finally said enough) recently they have gotten larger. I just moved to a new location so I am waiting to get into a new doctor (can t get in until late October). I am pretty healthy...5 6 177pds. I run 4-5 days a week averaging about 15-25 miles depending on the week. The workouts have struggled as I am struggling with energy levels a bit. Just wondering if I should try to get into a different doctor earlier?
