Need Medication Foe Itchy Chin Throat, Ear Canals And Cough
I have itchy chin throat and ear canals and coughing I participated in 80 flight stair climb a couple days ago and have dust mite allergies. The afternoon of the climb I had coughing and wheezing - the other symptoms started Monday. I currently take Zyrtec, singulair and nasonex. Should these symptoms disappear on their own or do I need to see a doctor

As per your query you have itchy chin throat, ear canals and cough due to dust allergy . Well the symptoms you mention in query occur due to many reasons like sore throat , post nasal drip , sinusitis or allergic reaction . You are taking right medications and continue then if they relieving your symptoms . But if symptoms persist ot get worse then consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test , examination with otoscope or allergy test to rule out eustachian tube dysfunction or ear infection . Doctor may prescribe antibacterial ( amoxicillin or penicillin ) , anti viral ( acyclovir ) , decongestant or expectorant . For now do wam saline gaargles and cover your face to prevent from dust inhalation .
