Hello dear ,I understand your concern. In my opinion sickness during the first trimester is
most commonly seen during the pregnancy.
Doxinate is the first preferred medicine for vomitings during pregnancy. If not controlled with this we can go for other medicines.
Macfolate is a drug containing folic acid.
Folic acid is must taken during the first trimester of pregnancy for proper growth of conceptus.Folic acid deficiency causes certain types of congenital anamolies.
Dont worry vomitings will subside mostly by 12 wks.Eat food in small quantities every 2 hrly.Avoid spicy and oily foods.Prefer fruit juices ,coconut water and adequate fluids to combat dehydration due to vomitings.
Follow this all instructions and if vomitings not controlled with doxinate you can go for other medicine after discussing with your doctor.
Good luck...Dr.srilatha
