hello and welcome to HCM,

Your spine adjustment may not solve your problem if the problem is either in your tonsils or a systemic problem. Since you have both pain in the tonsils and lots of systemic symptoms like the numbness and giddiness i would suggest you to get yourself properly evaluated. lets run by a few checklists for the same:
1. Complete examination of your throat by an ENT including an endoscopy if needed
2. Complete blood profile including serum calcium which may exclude your numbness
3. Imaging studies like the CT of the neck to see if there is any lesion in the tonsil area which may in fact cause the pressure symptoms you described
4. Proper treatment of your cough and probably reflux after the test results

take care and get well soon
