Again i want to stress that a single individual can have multiple medical problems which can cause the same symptoms Let us go back to your problem. The neck pain, back pain which comes down would suggest a possibility of nerve compression in your spine, called as radiculopathy. The management of these patients largely depends upon the neurological deficits they have. If there is no no neurological deficit after detailed neurological assessment, then the patient can be management conservatively with medicines and exercises. On the other hand if the pain is severe and the patient has neurological deficit surgical disc removal is an options. Hence i request you to get examined by a local neurologist who will approach the way i have described and also he will let you know if here is any other problem coexisting (particularly as you have told that you have hip and groin pain too) .
