Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Abdominal Pain. Low BP. Concern?

I've been having serious digestive issues since July. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain were the primary symptoms. I've had a ton of blood work done, as well as ultrasounds, stool sample and a hide-a-scan to check my gall bladder. So far nothing is showing up. I had an initial appointment with a gastroenterologist today and have an upcoming endoscopy scheduled. Normally my blood pressure is 120/70 but today it was 98/56 and I have a salty taste in the back of my throat. Should I be concerned?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Your blood pressure could be due to dehydration caused by repeated episodes of diarrhea, vomiting. I suggest you take fluid diet and drink lots of water to compensate for the fluid loss you are having due to diarrhea. Elevate the foot end side of your bed for increased flow to your heart. This can also be done by putting pillows below your feet while lying down.
Salty taste could be due to acid reflux.
I suggest Tab Pantop 40 mg twice per day before food for two days.
Avoid any thing spicy or fatty.
Let your doctor decide further action after the endoscopy.
Thanks.
