eliminate extra salt, drop some lbs., get an aquarium and watch the fish swim,(it works) candle-lite lukewarm bubble bath soft music. lower stress. work only 40 hrs. weekly. go out to the woods. i take atenolol it has the fewest side effects for me. try the other stuff under the docs.care enjoy nature.walking on a regular basis.put a blanket in your back yard and watch the trees blow in the breeze and the stars and moon. DO NOTHING UNLESS YOU ARE CLEARING IT WITH YOUR DOC.

Hi, i was diagnosed with High BP in 2006. 160/110; went on medication for 8 months. Then deliberately stopped taking drugs with the alterative of natural remedy and lifestyle changes. Just came back for general check up and my BP reads averagely 160/104. I have been without medication for more than 3 years. Except time to time casual headaches and palpitation (currently) , I have not been feeling that bad. How come, if my BP has been so high for so long?

My husband s blood pressure has crept up to 150/109 over the course of 10 years. He has tried every class of blood pressure med. All of them flatten him completely rendering him unable to even get out of bed. He is 66 years old He has tried every natural remedy anyone ever claimed would help to lower his blood pressure. Is 150/109 a certain stroke or heart attack? He will need to live without meds to lower it. He s scared to death that a stroke is imminent. I don t think so. What is your opinion? Thank you.
