My Upper Thigh Are Painful Possibly In Association With Hip

My upper thigh are painful possibly in association with hip pain. There is a burning feeling on outer thighs - both sides. Any thoughts on cause. Hips have been uncomfortable for a while and now my thighs are very painful. I'm not overweight - 5'4 and 140 lbs. generally very active until I developed a superficial blood clot lower left leg, then ruptured Bakers cyst (same leg) followed by torn meniscus. Surgery on knee is planned but now my thighs are very painful.
