my uncle is 53 years old.He is unable to move his right hand after awakening today.Is that serious? He has been suffering heart disease ,diabetic for a long time.He has got operated by-pass surgery .what would be the reason.

Most common cause of this symptom in the situation mentioned is a small stroke. Another possibility is that he kept his arm under his head while sleeping so that there is a compression of the nerves producing transient weakness. Either way he needs medical attention at the earliest.
