My stool is orange, soft not solid and also having a soreness uncomfortable feeling only when lying don’t. The foods Eatin when this started where carrot juice, blue berrie pancakes, lots of almonds, about three apples. My stool has been orange for about 3 days. I also had the cheap dollar store coffee and drinking dunkin donut coffee. I have been drinking more coffee than usual.

I am 22 and have had a few instances over the past 4 or 5 months of seeing a small amount of blood on my toilet paper. Its bright red and has usually just been small amounts but today there was a decent amount on it. There is none in the toilet and my movements are ranging from soft to decently solid to occasional diarrhea. I am also diabetic, if this helps. It itches slightly but i have no cramps or stomach pains. Any help?

I had a burritto w/ chorizo and lots of veggies in it this past weekend. Within 2 hours I had alot of gas, some cramping and then I had loose bowels. Movement was soft, loose, and feathery..pretty much the usual medium brown color. I noticed some mucus, too. This went on for several hours. I slept thru the night and when I awoke..again I had gas and a bit of loose stool. Still had urge to go..and would pass a bit w/ mucous. After may trips..I noticed some mucous mixed with blood. This went on for a few more hours. I resorted to a bland soft diet till my system gets better. Marked improvement. Still have some gas off and on..but mucous seems to have disappeared and also any trace of blood. This morning...I had a soft bowel movement. Yesterday I had reintroduced a bit of more solid food..2 slices of whole wheat bread w/ deli turkey, green beans, scrambled eggs, a cup of Greek non fat plain yogurt, some broth and thin bean curd noodles and lots and lots of water. With this soft bowel movement...looked to be loose again and a tiny bit of mucous tinged with string of blood. Am I dead? I m not being funny..but I m trying to not freak out. I know my hemmoroids must be flared. I ve never experienced blood before in or with my stool. The blood is very bright red..and as I said..just a bit appears.

I am a 15 year old male. When I was very young, I had constipation problems and had to take medicine (stool softener) so I could pass stools without extreme pain. That was years ago, but I do not know if this is relevant or not (I also had one external hemorrhoid for a few years; I had thought it to be normal but got it treated with cream). A few weeks ago, I had trouble going to the bathroom. I did, but there were small specks of red blood and bright red blood on my toilet paper. I shrugged it off, but it happened a few days later, and then about a week ago. I haven’t had the best of diets (I am average weight but lack fiber). I decided to eat more fiber. I took Fiber Plus. The next two days I had minor bleeding similar to the first incident. Then the third day I went to the bathroom 4-6 times with considerable amounts of stool each time. The later had blood, and the second to last wasn’t stool but a big bright red drop of blood about the size of a pointer fingernail that was mucus-like. I was sore but felt better. The next two days I had no blood, though I was still sore. Then the third day I used the bathroom (yesterday), and tissue-like red/bright orange pieces were mixed in my stool (they appeared reddish in the toilet but when removed were bright orange). It did not look like “cotton candy” (which I heard means that it is cancerous), but it was solid. I believe that it is undigested fat, possibly due to a 16oz of Palmer’s Honey Roasted Peanuts that I ate in less than 12 hours plus my lack of fiber. Should I be worried?
