My son takes focalin XR 20 mg. He takes one
My son takes focalin XR 20 mg. He takes one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I have 2 pills left until Monday when he gets his prescription filled. The reason we ran out early is bc the school has the rest of his medicine and are closed due to Hurricane Michael. They miss d a week of school so I had to use the medicine I had for next week. My question is... I have some of his old vyvanse 30 mg, when I run out of focalin XR can I give him the vyvanse 2 x a day until we get his prescription filled or would it be best to just not give him anything? He had autism and adhd and anxiety

6 year old son takes focalinXR 5mg in the morning before school. (He began by taking focalin 2.5mg in morning and another 2.5mg after school for homework). I thought the 5 mg extended release would last him longer through the day? but he seems less focused at school and as if hes on nothing by the time he gets home. Is this normal?
I would like to know if i should switch to focalin xr to adderal xr, i have sleep insomnia and adhd but recently was prescribed clinopin and it has helped with my sleep and anxeity 100 percent. Should i continue to take the aderall though it has been working well with the clinopin, or try focalin to see if it will make me more focused than aderall?
My 8 1/2 yr old grandson has ADHD with ODD. He takes 30 mg Focalin XR to go to school since he can t behave. He says he doesn t remember what he is learning, is this true? He is reading better, but also seems very depressed and withdrawn when he take it, won t eat during the day either. We have complained of these symptoms since he began taking it in 1st grade. Other meds don t seem to help. It is so hard to see this lively little guy become so subdued, and scared . The school insists he take it since they can t control his actions; runs around, won t participate etc.
