Hello
Try taking an Antihistaminic which is not sedating to a young boy like Tab Ebastine 10mg or levocetrizine 5mg once daily. Also add one tablet of Montelukast 10mg daily.
Confirm that he does not have any prior adverse reactions to these medications.
Please reply back and tell me if it helped.
Otherwise we will find other options. Avoid all food stuff and allergens that you feel cause him allergy.
Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

Your child might benefit from Allergy Testing
General & Family Physician Dr. Ramesh M.Vachharajani's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,
Your child is suffering from allergic bronchitis.Allergy may be from outside source or from inside the body.
Please see that your child is having worm infestation like thread worm, round worm or tape worm, this may cause allergic manifestation resulting cough cold or asthmatic attach.
Allergy causing from out side source are dust, pollen body, change of climate and some food allergy.
You observe all above factors and you may find some allergy factor and avoid that factor and your child will be alright.
Go for x ray chest, blood for tc,dc,esr etc which will give you type of infection and allergy.

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,
the use of five drops of castor oil in a little juice or water taken on an empty stomach in the morning, is highly benefical for allergies in the intestinal tract, skin and nasal passages
