my son is suffring by epilapcy from 2005 please suggest that. NECT SCAN OF BRAIN . 1 SMALL CLACIFICATION ARE NOTED ON LEFT SIDE IN OCCIPITAL.FRONTAL AND PARIETAL CORTEX WITHOUT PERIFOCAL OEDEMA. 2 REST OF THE BRAIN PARENCHYMA IS ISODENCE. 3 THE CSF SPACES ARE NORMAL. 4 MID LINE IS MAINTAINED. 5 VAULTIS INTECT. OPINION;- SUGGESTIVE CT NON SPECIFIC LEFT HEMICORTICAL CALCIFICATION.

Your CT Brain is essentially normal but for the small calcification. This small calcification will not be causing your son's epilepsy if that is the question u are asking.
Epilepsy more often than is not is familial in nature.
