My son is 12 years old. He came home from school yesterday complaining of feeling nauseous. Its been almost 2 days and this hasn't subsided. He has not yet vomited although he still feels like he wants to. And has no other symptoms, other than some very mild stomach pain.

Hi. About a year ago, my 12 year old son told us that he was hearing voices in his head. He described the voices as a lot of people talking but he could not understand what they were saying. We contributed it to a song that he heard on wrestling and did not follow-up with his peditrician. However, his has been displaying signs of attentiveness at home and school. His inability to pay attention and to stay on task at school has caused his grades to decline drastically. In addition, he has become unorganized and forgrtful. Is it possible that the voices are still in his head and he is focusing on those and not at the task at hand? What are some options that we as parents can do to help him without placing him on medication? We would like for the medication to be the last option.
