My son has been having recurring outbreaks of hives. No

My son has been having recurring outbreaks of hives. No fever, hasn’t been above 99.8. Yesterday he started with ST, HA, and abc pain. Strep was performed at urgent care and it was negative. Tonight he is complaining of side cramping and L leg cramping. Still having hives...any suggestion? I’m clueless

Hi my son had hives on Wednesday I took him to his pediatrician and he was unable to pinpoint the cause. He prescribed prednisone and zyrtec. Hives went away. However, they came back again today- brought him back to the pediatrician and the pediatrician advised to keep him on the meds for a few more days stating that these hives could come and go for a week. He just had a bad outbreak of hives an hour ago, on his face, ears, and arms. Seems to be on only areas that weren t covered. No hives on stomach, back, chest or feet. He just took a cool shower and they are pratically gone. any idea what could be causing this? could this be viral?

My son has been diagnosed with bronchitis, he also has broken out into hives. He is alergic to penicilan, and has been prescribed zithromax as well as presnidone for the hives. These meds seemed to in some way make the hives worse. Could it be a reaction to the medicine or are the hives just running they re course?
