My son had a heart attack, please suggest

He had a heart catch done and it didn't show any blockage. Now he has pericarditis . I thought you only had a heart attack if there was a blockage. His Heart catch was normal no blockage. I just want to know if the heart attack was caused by the fluid and inflammation around his heart.

Pericarditis is distinct from a heart attack. A heart attack is a blockage, pericarditis is cardiac arrest caused by excessive percardial fluid. A catheterization looks at the blood vessels, not the pericardial sac.
