My short term memory has gone very bad..

Hi. I m 17 years old and i have a few concerns which I want to clarify. A few months ago when i was on holiday , I had a very high fever and began to have some serious seizures as well as got very aggressive so im told. Now that I m back and have began college , I ve noticed that my short term memory has gone very bad. I mean before , I would rarely forget. Now my short term memory is pretty bad , but i keep telling myself that it is due to me not concentrating. Even my long term memory isn t great however before I would never forget anything that has been dedicated to my long term memory. The other day , my vision went blurry all of a sudden. And occasionally I get really bad headaches to the side of my head. Background noise is now becoming much more noticeable. Is there anything to be concerned out?

If you are having problems with your memory, vision, hearing, headache etc after seizures, a physician or a neurologist should be the first port of call. Please consult one and only after they rule out physical causes should you think about psychological causes.

Good luck.
