My recent blood studies were Excellent. No abnormal readings. However, I have an ongoing feeling of tingling sensations in my arm and a feeling of weakness. Nonetheless, I am extremely active and have not had to refrain from my daily activities. Recent hospitalization 4 months ago for what seemed like heart trouble proved negative. Many heart tests done as well as non-contrast abdomonal MRI. I am a 79 year old woman

Results of a recent bone scan after patient has been complaining of acute leg pain in the last three months. 3 phase bone scan TC99M lumbar vertebra Perfusion study - no abnormal perfusion Blood pool study - increased tracer pooling in L5 vertebra/rt. illiac bone Static study - increased tracer conc in right iliac bone rt s1 joint/L5/S1 vertebra and left pubis Rest of skeletal system - generalized decreased tracer conc. Impression: (1) General osteoporosis (2) lesion noted in right iliac bone, right S1/L5/S1vertebra/left pubis area are probably due to metastatic deposits What does this mean? Other tests that were done were an MRI, blood work; a biopsy has been scheduled.
