My Penis Has Stiff/hard Flaccid After Surgery

I had laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair (mesh implant) surgery one week ago. Since the surgery, my penis has intermittnently stiff/hard while still in its flaccid state. Is this a normal occurrence due to internal swelling from the surgery? If so, when can I expect for this to subside?

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare magic
it is a normal occurence. In pelvic surgeries, particularly implants/ mesh etc, the congestion in pelvic veins remain for some time. Do not worry, it shall subside in 2-4 weeks.
No worries. take care.
