i really feel sorry for in a way, my dad has the same problem with high blood presure. you should have a family gathering make her feel appriciated and dont let her think about finanical situations on her own let her feel that everything that concerns her concerns you. instead of her making the food you should start doing it. you are 20 by the way so you can take care of the finanical situation and cook. let her rest and if you can find some peperment "fresh green leafs" i would recommend that she has a cup of that every now and then again dont let her get upset. agree with her try not to fight. and if she fights fight for her

The last time I had my blood pressure checked was about 4 days ago. It read 161/108. I m a 34 year old single mother of a 7 year old. I do smoke cigarettes(about half a pack a day), I am about 5 6 weighing close to 130lbs. Heart disease runs on my mother s side and both my parents had heart attacks before the age of 50. My mother had her first heart attack at the age of 30. She since has had a total of 5 heart attacks and 4 open heart surgeries. I m wondering how at risk of having a heart attack am I? I currently don t have a primary doctor, but do I also need a cardiologist? Can you reccommended some to me, please? I live in West Richland, Wa. Thank you

I am a 57 year old male, height is 5ft 10, weight 17 stone. Have just had a blood pressure reading taken by my GP it was 161/84? He said its a bit high but offered no further options. Is this reading high? and should i have a few further readings taken to see if it is staying high and what should be done then? I have smoked most of my life, average of 50 cigarettes a day, i know this wont help.

I am a 46 years old male and my current BP levels are 150/110 despite being on CILACAR 5mg tab twice a day for last one month. I dont feel any effect of this high BP and even my BP reading in 2007/ 08 onwards showed 130/95. I am a healthy guy and non - smoke/non alcoholic and vegetarion. I do exercise for about 30 mins a day, play badminton twice a week over week ends. I dont feel any effect of this high BP in my body and latest medication of CILACar not helping to bring down to acceptable levels. Is it safe for me to consider my body has adjusted for the high BP level or suggest alternate medicine? Thanks in advance

In a recent medical exam, my BP was 142/92 and my pulse rate was 63. My SpO2 was measured twice (three minutes apart) and went from 96% to 93%. I had no medical history to report to the doctor. I was basically starting fresh with my healthcare. She said my vitals were normal and stable. She said my BP was likely due to my back pain (that led to the visit in the first place). But if my pressure was high, why was my rate low?? And, what is the significance of the drop in SpO2? Thanks.

I have a rash in my groin and my body is always itchy. For about 2 years I had rashes on both my feet. It seems to have cleared now but I still have to apply dipresone everyday. I take medication for high blood pressure - Micardi Plus, Zanidip and Spiractin. Are any of these causing my rash problems?

My husaband is 65 years old nad he told me that last night he experienced a sudden waive of dizziness, enough that he actually fell down. He has high blood pressure and on meds, but never diagnosed with anything else. He is currently working out of town and lives alone. I am very concerned. What could that be?

I feel kind of silly asking this, but my heart rate (resting) has been elevated all day -- ranging from 107 early am, up and down from 130 - 180 most of the day. I've been having episodes like this for several months, but not this bad or long lasting. I guess I'm just not sure what to do. Bp avgs 120/78 - 130/88.
