Hi Cattam17, Welcome to healthcaremagic. The good news is- your problem do not sound very serious. Where are you based? From your queries, it looks like because of your tendency to seat a lot, the armpits are always wet. Hence, infections of the sebaceous glands and sweat glands occur frequently in the arm pit. You may use common antibiotic powders (Neosporin etc.) locally on the armpits when you have infections. I would also advise a complete blood test (common/ routine tests), like- TC, DC, ESR, Hb and Fasting blood sugar. This will rule out any major illnesses with you. Also please do an ultrasound/ color Doppler scan of the arm pit when lymph nodes enlarge.
Your joints also need to studied by doing x-rays of the affected joints. I also suggest doing a blood test for vitamin-D and calcium levels in the blood. If low, then you need to take vitamin D pills. If possible send me the reports of your tests, xrays to me. One of the commonest causes of body, joint pains is deficiency of vitamin D.
