My husband is having flu like symptoms. He had a flu shot one week ago. Currently Temp 100.2 headache, nausea, lethargy. He had a work up to rule out gallbladder issues on 10-7-18 after severe abdominal pain and vomiting. No appetite. He is having EGD tomorrow and doesn't want to take anything for pain until after the EGD. Any ideas about what his problem could be. Age 67, white male, active. No health issues.

Hello. I am a 55 year old woman. I am recovering from a flu-like virus where I had feverishness, headache and aches all over my body. The worst of this lasted about 5 days and I am slowly recovering. However, I am finding that I am experiencing low mood and an agitated feeling (similar to jangling nerves or butterflies in my stomach) and it is making it difficult for me to fall over to sleep. Is this a common symptom after having the flu? I am coping with this quite well as I control my breathing until the feelings pass but it is wearing me down somewhat. Should I be doing something different?

Hi, my husband is 58 years old. He is in good health and on Wednesday came down with fever and cold-like symptoms. He took some over the counter meds like Advil Cold & Sinus and Nyquil. Yesterday he developed a red rash all over his body. He went to the clinic and an FNP gave him a steroid shot and an rx for steroid pills. The rash is better today but his jaw is hurting badly and he can hardly talk. Should he go back to the clinic? These are weird symptoms! Oh, they tested him for flu and it was negative. And the fever is gone. thanks.

Hi, my husband started this morning with a heavy cold, runny nose, pain behind the eyes and generally feeling like a heavy head cold. However, by this evening he is shivering and complaining about pains in his body, but his temperature is normal. Is it possible to have all the symptoms of flu, without a temperature?
