My 18 yo daughter is experiencing fatigue and she is having blood in her urine. When asking more details about the urine, she says that she will have a normal urination, but then when she has finished she feels an urgency to urinate more. The original normal urination has no blood. But when she then responds to the urgency by peeing more, there is blood in the urine. Does she have a UTI? We are on vacation and thinking we may need to go into an urgent care for an antibiotic. We are in San Francisco. Thanks, Steve

I have been experiencing symptoms of a urinary tract infection for a few months (since April). The pain isn t too bad, just a slight twinge when I urinate, but the urgency and frequency are becoming an annoyance. My obgyn did a dip test in my urine a few weeks ago and it was clear so she sent me to have a blood test, which was also clear. What else could be causing those same symptoms if not an infection?
