My husband has a heart condition and has had several

My husband has a heart condition and has had several bouts of pneumonia when he gets a cold. He has one now and he’s been taking OTC meds but his cough is getting worse. I laid my head on his back a few minutes ago and I could hear rattling on his left side (none on the right). Should we go to the ER or can he wait and see his regular doctor on Monday?

I am a woman in my 70s. Have just been diagnosed with a heart murmur. Not serious yet. I ve taken b/p meds for 20 yrs . I have also experienced extreme anxiety and depression for as many years being a caregiver for my husband. All these conditions have been controlled by meds. But I feel like things are getting worse as I grow weary and tired. Is this heart murmur serious? What can I do?
