My husband cannot walk for 4 months. Is this for slipped disk or anything else?

hi my husband woke up one morning four months ago and could not move.(back and leg pain) it was very bad.some doctors said it is probly a slipped disk some saidsciatice and some said muscle spazim. the gave him medication but nothin worked. 4 months later they decided to keep him in hospital they have left him for 4 months in very bad pain also been out of work for 4 months cannot walk up the stairs. and canot lie down can he sue someone for leaving him like that

Hi, My sister is suffering from lower back pain from last one month. she was taking homeopathic treatment for that but doesn t help.Her right feet thumb is also numb from last one 15 days. Dear Sir, I have a slipped (herniated) disk. My neurologist has prescribed me Remilyn D, Intasam 200 & Gabapin NT once in the morning.. i took it for 3 months.. felt better and then discontinued.. now i am not perfect but ok.. i cannot stand for more than 20 minutes and I need compulsory back support to sit also.. I do not continue to sit for hours.. I take a break from work every 40 mins or so.. I see to it that i do not bend forward.. Should I continue those medicines or take it 2 to 3 times in a week? I am mentally not ok for getting operated.. is the gel ball injection technology successful ? pls advise

I boyfriend is having a slip disk problems and due to which he is not able to bend, walk for long time, sit or do any other activities. The doctors whom he consulted told that there is a nerve which is stuck between his bones. He was admitted in the hospital for about a week in January, 2013 for the same but I don t see any positive results. Please help out.

my husband has a L5-S1 disc herniation, and subaequently sciatic pain. Since starting Neurontin 100mg TID 6 weeks ago, he has had periods of inability to reach orgasm. Does one have to do with the other? He is 6'0" 185# 39years old and in good health. He will be within seconds of orgasm and he will lose his erection. The erection will come back and he will continue the pattern and sometimes (even after trying for 90min) still have no success. Help...

Hi I have a pinched nerve/herniated disc in lower back, which I ve had since December/January 2013/2014. I have been prescribed 30mg m eslon bid, 50mg nortriptyline Sid, 10mg sevredol qid & paracetamol x 2 qid. I have been having trouble urinating, like a delay, sitting waiting for it to come & I haven t had a bowel movement for 5 days now. I have been taking laxatives the whole time as i get constipated easily. I also have focal segmental glomurel sclerosis so I can t have nsaids for pain relief. Should I be going to the hospital re anuria etc or just see GP first thing tomorrow?

Hello Doctor. I'm 25yrs old, 164cm, 61kgs guy from India. I had a acute disc prolapse L4-L5 & sciatica while palying football 3 yrs ago. I went for conservative treatment nerve manipulation. I was back to normal. 3 weeks ago I have got back the same pain due to travelleing on bumppy roads. MRI report Mild rethrolisthesis of L4 over L5 posterior disc bulge with annular tear and mild caidal migration at L5-S1 level. Doctor says L5-S1 problem may lead to Impotence.
