My grandson is taking a type of swimming lesson called ISR (Infant Self Rescue). He is 10 months old. The ISR technique is to teach the child, if it was to fall into a swimming pool, to float on its back until rescued. During the 10 minute session with the instructor, my grandson is extremely terrified, and ends up taking in a good bit of the pool water. After the session, he will "burp up" a good bit of the water. The pool is a salt water pool. I am concerned about him ingesting much salt water. These lessons are 5 days a week, and he has completed 2 weeks and 3 days. Is there a concern with him ingesting this much salt water? Thanks
