My friend was sweating and his heart was pounding, what can I do ?

My friend was sweating and his heart was pounding, what can I do? He lives an hour from me, but it is 12:30 at night. The last time I spoke to him was around 10:30 pm. He isn t answering my calls, texts or emails. He said he was fine when I asked him last if he was okay. If he is okay, he would just think that would be so silly of me to call 911. He s a cop. I wouldn t be able to get into his apt without the remote. He has no family in this country If he did go to the hospital, he is stubborn and wouldn t worry me with that. Thank you so much to everyone who responded. He is okay, he took medicine his doc gave him for that and went to sleep. Wow! That was a scare for me!

I would drive out there. Better safe than sorry. Even if everything was okay, At least you can have some peaceful sleep instead of worrying. I would definately drive out there if i were you.

Good day to you :) okay, yesterday i had an excellent time in a Sauna for 45 minutes at my local finess gym. SO Awesome! I sweat and i was so relaxed. I had a nice warm shower off afterward and got dressed. I was in the shower and i felt a hard beat within my ribcage and it continued like as if my heart opened up into big stretched out beats good and hard. I clutched my chest where my heart is and I felt like i was clutching my heart ! Like WOW ! and then it went away after 5 minutes or so, until i went to get my shoes on to leave my local gym and it started up again. I had my friend put his hand on my chest ON TOP of my jacket and he got concerned because he could feel my heart beating bigly and asked if I need to go to the hospital and repeated asking if I want to go to the Emergency. I said no, it s only my heart beating big. What is your opinion on what happened last night with my heart? Did my experience in the Sauna have anything to do with my Heart s stretched out beating? I am in really good health. no problems. all green lights.

I ve been experiencing what I can only describe as a fluttering of my heart. It isn t painful at all, no chest constrictions. Yet every minute or so it does feel as if everything kind of slows, then makes me take a deep breath, followed by a slight feeling of light headiness. I am a 32 year old male, active, in good health. My friends are urging emergency care, yet I don t wish to overreact. I have been told in the past by my physician that I have a slightly enlarged heart, and so I don t feel this may be too far outside of regular. Though I have not experienced this before, and it has been since last night. I only had one cup of coffee this morning so I don t believe it s caffeine related. Anyway, any advice would be welcome.
