My Father-in-law Was Diagnosed With A Mutated Gene 13 Blood

My father-in-law was diagnosed with a mutated gene 13 blood disorder and prescribed with Imbruvica from his cancer doctor. Within two weeks of taking Imbruvica, his health deteriorated with all the symptoms of the drug pill and experienced a fall, which led to subdural hemorrhage. We brought him to the ER and had two brain surgeries for two successive days to remove the blood caused from bleeding in the dura or under the skull of his head. My question is: Was Imbruvica the right drug pill for his blood disorder? All his CBC with manual differential were normal, except the Total White Cell Count was going up. His Bone Marrow results were normal, too.
