the order says rule out valvulopathy (disease of the valves) -> Chest pain and irregular rhythm (Irregular electrical rhythm)

My mother age 54 years , weight 44kg, height 5'1", is have 180+ heart rate beat for few minutes ( happened 2 times in 2 months) and took water and calmed down. Visited doctor and he said could be psvt. ECG is normal, thyroid is ok. Please guide , any test which can diagonise. What are likely treatments? Can it be cured by medicine, as i have read that mnual physical prevention is only way. Please throw some light . Moreover, Is it serious heart threat for her considering her age?

Hi I have had an ecg and the results came back fine with no problems, but at night when im falling asleep my heart beats really fast and my body jolts as if my body don't want me to fall asleep, I can take me between 15 minutes and an hour to fall asleep. why is this happening?

hey, I have had irregular heart beats for prob. the last 5 to 10 years. My heart will beat in an irregular rhythm and then sometimes seem to be perfectly fine. At times it will be beating regularly then all of a sudden for no apparent reason start beating very fast and usually will last between 20 seconds and a minute or two usually leaving me with like a hot flash feeling in my face when it subsides . any ideas what this could be I've had halter monitors and 48 hr monitors ekg's . no specific diagnosis
