Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter is due to have a baby soon and wants me to get a number of vaccinations. She included the one for shingles which is apparently given in two shots, 2 months apart . If the baby is born between my getting both shots, am I a carrier for chicken pox in those two months? In other woeds, what is the risk to the baby when I've only had the first of the two shots?
