Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Cold And Cough Every Month In An Infant

My daughter is 3 yrs old..she has been suffering from cold n cough almost every month....doctor has prescribed her lasma lc kid n nebulization by livolin n burecord...is it safe for her?....do u suggest anything else for her........is there any home remedies...

Hi,

Usually, the viral infection is a common cause of congestion in the child.

Your child can be given prescribed the anti-allergic drug.

However nebulization of bronchodilator and steroid as prescribed given only if bronchoconstriction present.

So you can discuss that with his treating pediatrician. Your child's CBC also should be done for further workup.
