My Cholesterol Level Is 248. How To Lower It?

i recently took a blood test ..(not a fasting one) and they came up with my cholesterol level at 248. and i m 13. i m not overweight , but high cholesterol runs in my family. both of my grandpa s are obese. one grandma is. and the other is losing weight rapidly.. possibly having ovarian cancer . I m just wondering what do i do to lower it. I already exercise a lot, and i think i eat decently.. i m just so confused. is that just ironic that the advertisement was a honey nut cheeries ad.. is that just ironic that the advertisement was a honey nut cheeries ad.. what i find strange is that i run everyday

It will be better to take the blood test in fasting condition. If it is >150 then go through treatment- 1.Dietary modification- Avoid fast foods & oily foods 2.Regular moderate exercise,eg ; walk 30 minutes as fast as you can daily 3.Drug - Atorvastatin (Lipitor)10 mg daily until normal cholesterol level.before taking the drug you must consult with your physician
