My cholesterol LDL was 200 4 months ago and is now 61

My cholesterol LDL was 200 4 months ago and is now 61, my HDL is higher (63) than my LDL, is that strange? My doctor tested my cholesterol in january, I am 55, dont smoke or drink, my TC was 276 now its 156, (down 56%) my triglyceride was 138 now its 161 (though i put that down to 25 grams of protein whey with cereals for breakfast), (+ 16%) HDL was 52 now its 63 (+21%) and my LDL was 200 now its down to 61 (-68%) though i have been tested every month, my second months drop was very significant. I am not taking ANY statins, i changed my diet, and just take polycosanol (which is a natural coating of the sugar cane)
