My Can Yeast Infection Cause Swelling Of Nodes?

My 2 year old son has been sick for about a week. I saw him favoring a leg today and complaining it was painful in the right groin area. Found the groin node on right side was bulging. Took him to the e.r. They said it was probably the virus he has been fighting off gave script for antibiotic and medicine for yeast infection down below. Could the yeast infection cause the node swelling ? ( it's like 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter)

HI
Well come to HCM
Any infection could cause the swelling of Lymph mode but some time viral infection may not cause this in my opinion the child should be simply treated with Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen, this would subsides the symptoms, hope this helps.
