My boyfriend had an ascending and descending aorta repair. It was about a year ago, he has been on many medications since. lately he is having swelling around the eyes, shortness of breath and abdominal blotting. Could this be from medications or another aneurysm?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Usually, the swelling around eyes, short breath and abdomen bloating indicate vascular compromise at various tissue levels.

Kindly get a recent angiography done and follow up with the results online.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
