I am a 31 yr old male and my blood sugar was at 104. Does this mean I have diabetes? I exercise regulerly and try to eat right most of the time. I am curious about diabetes because my doctor explained to me that people whos blood level rise above 100 are more sucseptible to diabetes. She told me people who arent susceptible to diabetes can eat sweets and carbs all they want and their blood sugar never rises above 100.
blood sugar levels between 80 to 120mg/dl is considered to be normal, if the blood glucose is some were near the 135 mark than it needs to be considered as borderline and needs further investigation to confirm and to initiate treatment

I have an appt this am and am supposed to fast so they can do some tests. I take meds for diabetes 2, and high blood pressure. I also take fish oil, calcium with D and iron. Should I go ahead and take my meds this am or wait until after testing?
We have consulted a doctor and she has prescribed Tab Duphaston (10 mg) twice daily. Could you advise us of its purpose and if it has any side effects in long-term. We would really appreciate your advice on this.
