Cord blood positive for CMV IgG and negative for IgM means you have been infected with CMV sometime before and now developed immunity. If you were infected for the first time during pregnancy and developed immunity later, there is a chance of infection to the baby in early pregnancy. However, not all infected babies will have symptoms. Contact your doctor for confirmation tests to rule out infection of the baby during pregnancy and if infected, for a careful clinical assessment.
