I just stumbled upon your question. I would suggest you look up
milk allergy and/or foremilk/hind milk imbalance. I too am
breastfeeding my 3 month old. She has explosive bowel movements that range from yellowish green, to green and mucousy. They smell awful too and happen at least 8-12 times a day. She just started screaming after each feeding and projectile spit ups. I had thought it was the foremilk imbalance (the 1st milk that is full of more sugars) therefore spitting up alot more. I have a strong let down so it made sense. My mom told me about my milk allergy that I outgrew at 2yrs old and everything points to that. She doesn't have any blood in her stools. But she does have a lot of the symptoms. You can try eliminating dairy out of your diet (it says a milk allergy can come on around 4 months or so). It also says it will take up to 2 weeks to be out of your system and won't see a difference in about 4-5 days. Well I'm on 48hrs and FINALLY my baby has stopped crying after each feed, stopped spitting up, and her poo in back to a yellow/orange. Hope this helps!!???
