Hallo Mrs. Sowkya,
Welcome to the HCM Public Forum.,
Peoples of all ages can be affected caused by abnormalities in anatomy of the feet and toes. Corns come in two varieties called, Hard and Soft.
My advice is , wash the hard area with an anti- septic lotion and carefully shave the top of the corn to reduce the thickness.
Prepare a paste using Chalk Powder and Lemen juice. Apply this paste over the hard area.
Prepare a paste using Kizhinjal Mezhugu Powder and Caster oil. Apply this paste over the affected area.
This would be very effective in healing the corn.
Wear fitted shoes at all time .

Hi,
Corns are painful. It may come back repeatedly, so I suggest to use soft shoes mainly Doctor's shoes every time. Corncap are useful but it can't cure the corn completely.
So, You can take Homoeopathic treatment for a long time (allmost 6 months).
I think it will help you. Fer.Pic 3x - take this medicine twice daily for a week.

Hello, my name is Liam. I have had a corn on the outer side of my right foot for a few months now. I have tried numerous home remedies, but nothing has worked, and worse, I feel I may have worsened the situation. The corn is now just under the size of a dime, I d soft and waxy, and bleeds quite perfusely if I accidentally break the outermost layer of the corn. I am not sure what to do, but I do have a routine checkup coming up in June. Should I get this looked at before then? Thanks

Hello Dr., I am having a corn in my right foot at the very base for the 3rd time. I got it removed for 2 times by undergoing a local surgery. I am not sure, what to do. I have still not consulted any dermatologist. I have also applied a corn cap and the skin has become yellowish. Will it be advisable to apply a corn cap and remove it by myself at home ? or should i consult a dermatologist first and take his advise ? or is it advisable to again undergo a surgery and getting it removed ? Kindly suggest the best advise of the three. Also do any of the home treatments like Lemon pils applying on the infected area, applying Cloves on the infected area do work and are advisable. Thanks, Tariq Pathan from Bangalore
