My 5 Months Old Son Is Suffering From Atrial Septal Defect(ASD)

hi doctor , my son is 5 konth old and recently he was detected with a 10mm ASD, for the past 6 days he is been having viral fever n he was only on crocin n a vitamin medicine, i again saw the doctor who gave him an antibiotic and took his blood n urine test ...what could be the problem?

Probably the tests are to detect presence of infection in the body which is the cause of fever.  Antibiotic therapy is standard treatment in case of infection.
