Muscle Pain In Legs And Arms, Low Grade Fever, Sore Throat, Headcahe. CPK Elevated. Whats The Reason, Advise?

My daughter is an 8 year old , healthy usually , has been complaining of muscle pain in her legs and her arms and in the morning can t walk , that has been going on for 3 days , had a low grade fever and a sore throat with some headache , blood work is ok except for an elevation in her CPk level 290,she is in a summer camp and has been hiking and swimming, please advise.

sounds like she has had a viral myositis. this is a self limiting condition that should improve as her viral infection improves.
