I have got multiple tiny intramural fibroids along anterior and posterior wall of fundus and body of uterus(bulky anteverted uterus) as per ultrasound report.I have undergone 2 caesarian delivery. Now I am having occasional prolonged period with medium/heavy bleeding but without any pain..(age 41 yrs). Please suggest suitable medicinal treatment,if any.(other than surgery)

Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
THe treatment of fibroids depends on various factors.
The type , location, size, etc matters.
And if they are multiple, mostly surgery would be required.
You could write in with the ultrasound scan report uploaded at -

At 42, hysterectomy is the best option.
Once I look at the ultrasound report, I can provide you advice regarding other suitable uterus - conserving options.
Other options could be - ablation, morcellation, myomectomy alone, HIFU etc, however I can guide you only after looking at the scan report.
All the best.
Take care.
