Mole Appeared Overnight, Is This Common Or Should I Seek Medical Attention ?

When I woke up yesterday morning, there was a small purpleish mole on my left breast that has never been there before. I have had only a few sun related moles in my life and that was years ago. I am 52 years old, do not sunbathe or use a tanning bed. Today the mole appears to have gotten just a little larger and darker, but is flat against my skin and not painful. Is this common or should I seek medical attention? Denise

if it is an islolated mole then you dont have anything to worry about unless its causing pain. try to take more precautions like sun block, umbrella and appropirate clothing to prevent further pigmentation
