Missing Periods, Light Brown Stuff From Vagina. Not Pregnant. What Could Be This?

Hello, I am a 19 year old woman, and I have not had my period since May of this year and I know for a face that I am not pregnant. I have the feeling that I am about to start my cycle because of all the signs that are happening to my body, but that's been happening for the past 2 weeks. Also, there is light brown gooey stuff coming out of my vagina. My mother says it's just old blood from the periods I haven't had, but I don't know if that's completely true. Help?

Hi thanks for asking on HCM.

Your mother is right. That may be old blood or indication of coming period. But, it can be some infection also.

You should see a doctor for necessary examination and investigation to find out the cause of this ammenorrhoea and for hormonal treatment if required.

Good Luck
