Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

First of all, you undergo one urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. Blood test for beta-hCG is more reliable and confirmatory.

Some other reasons like stress, hormonal imbalance, high prolactin, hypothyroid state, ovarian cyst, over weight may cause delayed period besides pregnancy.

Following initial test report, you must consult with gynecologist for suggestive investigation (like USG, hormone test etcetera) and treatment. You may require progesterone pill to induce period in the absence of pregnancy.

Practice safe sex in future and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Good luck.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S Patra
