Missing Bowel Movement After Delivery. What Should Be Done?

i just had a baby thursday and havent pooped since that morning. its now monday and i can feel all the poop clumped up right at the rectum and cannot push it out. what do i do? ive taken stool softeners but it didnt work. i just took a womens lax. its so painful with all the swelling and i do have stiches all up the perineum

if you have taken stool softeners and women lax and no improvement then you need to go to the hospital to be given an enemax to release the stools, or use of glycerin suppositories to pass the stool out.
you need to carefull on your diet, advise on -
- increased water intake
- fiber foods
- vegetables and fruits
do not strain as you are at a higher risk of developing piles.
