Missed Periods Since 3 Months Due To Stress. Underweight And Anemic. Medication For Getting Periods Without Hormonal Side Effects?

i usualy have normal periods with a normal flow.bt i didnt have my periods since last 3 months. in those 3 months i didnt have proper diet n i lost my weight too. past 2,3months were so stressful. i didnt get tim to eat food. i am under weight n sometimes anaemic also. my weight is 44kgs n my height is 5 feet 4 inches. please suggest me something or a medicine to get my periods back. i dont want to get facial hairs n manly attributes due to hormonal pills. please advice me something with minimum risk.

Hello,

First of all, you need to undergo one USG scan, hormone assay, thyroid profile to rule out other associated pathology.

Following steps are useful to get back your period:
1) Take supportive medication according to test reports.
2) Eat healthy protein rich diet with more green vegetables.
3) Avoid stress/ depression by yoga/ meditation/ breathing exercise regularly.
4) Take iron and vitamin supplements to combat anemic condition.
5) Take sound sleep with complete relaxation. Maintain genital hygiene.

Hi,
It seems that due to malnutrition and having anemia with stress might be the reason for not having period.
Consult Gynaec and get examined to rule out any hormonal or genital tract problem.
Take high nourishing diet, fresh fruits, juices, puddings, ghee, cheese, panier etc.
Take Iron and multivitamin supplements.
