Missed Periods, Lower Back Pain, Sore Breasts, Dizziness, Vaginal Bleeding. Pregnancy Test Necessary?

Hello. My monthly cycle has been late for the last 3 months & when I finally get it its only for 2½ days. My lower back is starting to ache & recently my breast are becoming more sore all the time. I also find myself having dizzy spells during the day. Do you think taking a pregnancy test would be wise or should I wait for more concrete symptoms?

Hello Madam,

Thanks for asking. The symptoms you describe corroborate with dysmenorrhea. Many young or middle age women might experience it. Many of the cases are managed easily with birth controlled pills. If it is not improved with this strategy more investigation is needed. If you have pain at the time of defecation or intercourse it might be endometriosis although the chance is pretty low.
When a lady is pregnant and experiences spotting, its frequency is not regular. In those cases a severe pain experienced which is not related specifically to the time of bleeding. I hope that this information helps. I am eager to hear from you back.
